Just Don x Mitchell & Ness x Brooklyn Nets Snapback Hats

Jigga man may be one of the few that has his own Brooklyn Nets' snapback cap but the merchandise stock is on the rise. The basketball franchise has been selling gear like hot cakes since its recent move to the New York City borough. Part owner Jay-Z has been seen rocking various  We have to wait and see how good the Nets will be next year but there gear off the court is already in high demand , so it’s no surprise that Don C created a special one for the Nets. For the first time, the snapback features an all leather crown complete with a signature snakeskin  brim, and comes in just one color—black. Look for these to sell quick when they drop. We can already see Jay-Z wearing this when he performs in Brooklyn this upcoming fall.

We have to wait and see how good the Nets will be next year but there gear off the court is already in high demand!

[Street Style Watch] Pharrell Williams at 'Dark Knight Rises Movie Premiere

Pharrell Williams joined a host of celebrity guests and the stars of the new movie "The Dark Knight Rises" for the New York premiere of the blockbuster movie on Monday July 16th.

The 'Can I Have It Like That' singer was pictured sporting a blonde hairstyle under a brimmed brown hat complete with a flannel shirt, green Billionaire Boys Club seal tee and stenciled BBC washed jeans.

If you are eyeing his boots you won't find them in stores. The Timberland waterproof DIY boots that Skateboard P is sporting was designed by himself with the assistance of a paint pen. They feature a Chanel logo on the right and a sketch of skeleton toes on the left, with other personal motifs and more covering the sides and heels. He’s been spotted sporting the kicks hard in the past few months. He’s going to make me grab the white out off my desk and get busy. I’m talented too, HELL. 

Pharrell is known for not following the trends and yet again he hits us with another look from his eclectic style. What do you think honestly of this look.... Fashion at it's best or Pharrell looks a hot mess?

To add to his personal style, Pharrell kept up with his house keys buy adding a clip to his back pocket along with and American flag bandanna and beaded aztec belt.

Men's Leopard Loafers: Get them before they become EXTINCT

We all know popular power house Christian Louboutin is the one stop shop for leopard loafers. However, it just frustrates me that top shoe designers like Steve Madden can make awesome, affordable leopard slippers (studs and all) for women (pictured above), but when it comes to men's shoes they fall short. Do WE not seek the same jenesequa when it comes to OUR fancy statement shoes? Can a man get a pony hair leopard loafer please (lol) *raises hand*? Now that I've gotten this rant of my chest that has been building for years with Steve, I decided to do my research and find some designers that were in tune with the times and also felt the need for men's leopard loafers.


Giacomorelli

I have been eyeing these for a few months now. One word comes to mind: PERFECTION. This is an awesome pair of half leopard, half stud slippers from the Fall/Winter 2010 collection of Italian brand, Giacomorelli.  These bad boys will run you $576 and surprisingly two years after their release, they are still available. Find the look here via ShopStyle.com.

Chad Ochocinco Rocks [none traditional] Custom Gold Christian Louboutin’s to His Wedding

The media has been very silent since the highly anticipated union of Basketball Wives star turned newly married football wife Evelyn Lozada and Miami Dolphins Chad Johnson (better known as Ochocinco) this past July 4th. Well pictures have finally surfaced and if you are like me... you just wanted to see what they were wearing on their special day. 

After a two-year engagement, the reality star and NFL player tied the knot at a private ceremony among 150 of their closest family and friends at the Le Chateau des Palmiers beachfront resort in St. Martin, which was taped for the couple’s upcoming VH1 reality show, Ev and Ocho.

While the nuptials will air on VH1 in just a few short months, Chad left nothing to the imagination while tweeting live through the entire service.  

Chad also tweeted a picture of his shoes for the ceremony and let me just say I instantly gave him a round of applause (eeeyyyyyy lol). Chad is no stranger to the Christian Louboutin brand and he did not disappoint as he wore a pair of custom gold spiked roller boat style loafers. He paired the look with a sateen peeked-lapel tuxedo, bold satin statement bow tie and traditional white tuxedo shirt #WeAPPROVE!

Set to Release? Nike LeBron 9 Low “LeBronald Palmer” PE

Well just when you thought we saw it all from the LeBron 9 releases this year, King James took to Twitter to show off a never before seen colorway [P U R E--D O P E N E S S]. This special edition low cut model is inspired by an iced tea drink and features a Miami-esque styling to it from the base to its inner lining. With palm trees throughout the silhouette’s upper, the shoe also features a teal midsole, pink 180 Air Max airbag, translucent sole and a glass of “Arnold Palmer” on the insole [these graphics are I N S A N E]. 

Arnold Palmer is a 7-time major championship winning golf legend who’s also known for a popular line of drinks combining lemonade and iced tea.

Lebron is sporting a sample shoe and unfortunately we have no way of telling if it will ever hit the shelves. We here at The X-Stylez blog sure hope so!

Sneaker Alert: Preview Of Collaborative Opening Ceremony x Adidas Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

The Opening Ceremony x Adidas Originals was first premiered during Berlin Fashion Week.  The collection showcased a preview of their Spring/Summer 2013 stylish footwear and apparel. Playing off a strong, athletic theme drawn from the world of running and tennis, bold prints and patterns play nicely off the equally masculine color palettes. This collaborative collection isn't for your conservative dressing male. From bright colors and animalistic patterns to colored soles and funky laces, the aesthetic of this collab is for a risk taker and lover of all things abnormal. 

Those on hand during a special media preview included Opening Ceremony designer and co-founder Humberto Leon as well as Adidas creative director Dirk Schönberger. Expect to see further details and price points emerging in the very near future.

[Fashion Friday] Nas and Swizz Beatz Go Dapper for 2012 Espy Award Performance

The ESPY Awards held at The Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California is traditionally an event dedicated to athletes and their achievements, but it wasn't just sports stars gracing the red carpet and center stage, but some of urban music's hottest names as well.

Hip Hop was definitely represented at the 2012 ESPY Awards with Nas and Swizz Beatz teaming up for a performance. News of their impending performance broke via Twitter Wednesday, as both tweeted saying "life is good."


Both hit the stage in striking black and white ensembles putting the "G" in "Q."

The X-Stylez meets X-Factor to talk personal style BET Award Weekend

Like music and fashion it was inevitable that the two Xs would eventually meet. We watched both Astro and Marcus Canty weekly as they performed among some of the nation's best vocal and lyrical talent. Although all they had to do was focus on their talents as celebrity stylist June Ambrose dressed them to the nine each week, it's always refreshing to see what celebrities' personal style is away from the cameras.

The X-Stylez blog caught up with both Astro and Marcus Canty at the Epic Records Pre-BET Award industry party and at the actual award show to discuss men's fashion, the projects they've been working on post X-Factor and of course what they were wearing.

Since the release of the rappers "Loser" mixtape, Astro not only has been working hard in the studio but also designing pieces on his clothing line entitled "Loser", which is in the works to be released.
