Chad Ochocinco Rocks [none traditional] Custom Gold Christian Louboutin’s to His Wedding

Wedding rings designed by Jason of Beverly Hills

The media has been very silent since the highly anticipated union of Basketball Wives star turned newly married football wife Evelyn Lozada and Miami Dolphins Chad Johnson (better known as Ochocinco) this past July 4th. Well pictures have finally surfaced and if you are like me... you just wanted to see what they were wearing on their special day.

After a two-year engagement, the reality star and NFL player tied the knot at a private ceremony among 150 of their closest family and friends at the Le Chateau des Palmiers beachfront resort in St. Martin, which was taped for the couple’s upcoming VH1 reality show, Ev and Ocho.

While the nuptials will air on VH1 in just a few short months, Chad left nothing to the imagination while tweeting live through the entire service.

Chad also tweeted a picture of his shoes for the ceremony and let me just say I instantly gave him a round of applause (eeeyyyyyy lol). Chad is no stranger to the Christian Louboutin brand and he did not disappoint as he wore a pair of custom gold spiked roller boat style loafers. He paired the look with a sateen peeked-lapel tuxedo, bold satin statement bow tie and traditional white tuxedo shirt #WeAPPROVE!

What do you think of Chad's non-traditional shoes for his special day? Fashionably Hot or Too over-the-top?

Paris Fashion Week Hot Stop: Christian Louboutin Men's Store

If your currently in Paris for Fashion Week, a place you might want to stop is the ALL-MALE Christian Louboutin store which can be found at 19 rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau. The popular shoe designer known for his men’s studded loafers, Christian Louboutin has made significant strides in the expansion of his brand to the male footwear market since adopting the menswear line in 2008. Now like woman's only boutiques, men can enjoy personal shopping in the brand’s first-ever men’s shop in the Galerie VĂ©ro-Dodast in Paris, France.

To give the store a masculine appeal, vintage airplane seats, a tin ceiling, and a Star Trek table and chair were assimilated to give the interior a bold distinction from the nearby women’s boutique. The shop envisions a higher level of customer service by offering a made-to-order service in the abaft area of the store known as the “Tattoo” room. Here, men can embroid modern-day versions of family crests/ tattoos onto shoes, a service which will take about three months to complete an order.

Louboutins or as we say down south 'Red Bottoms" can sometimes cost thousands of dollars. Apparently, the more lavish models are most popular, with Louboutin saying that his male customers "Come in and say, What do you have with studs?" and that his studded high-top sneakers ($993) and a more elaborate version with crystals ($2,278) belong to his bestsellers.

2012 Golden Globes: Top 3 Best Dressed Men

The men of the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards looked dapper on the red carpet in their classic tuxedos. The event was held last night (January 15) in Beverly Hills California. When looking through the lookbook album on The Socialite Life, this year men paid attention to detail. I was pleasantly impressed with the comeback of velvet. I noticed a lot of full velvet tuxedos mixed with satin lapels. The carpet was flooded with sharply dressed gents in peek lapels, notch collars, dinner jackets, vintage bowties, slim fits, classic handkerchiefs, patent leather tux shoes and more: a true gentleman’s dream closet.

I picked 3 of the Best Dressed men of the event….

#1 Idris Elba- 2012 winner for Lead Actor in a TV miniseries or Movie. Idris is slowly moving up the charts as a fashion icon. Recently, he has been killing it in the fashion arena everytime I see him photo'd. He took a traditional approach to a double breasted peek lapel, double vented tuxedo jacket and dressed it up, while dressing it down with slip in Christian Louboutin roller boat spiked sneakers. He accessorized this look with a wide collar dress shirt, stripped satin black tie, squared off white handkerchief, sliver tip clip, male flower brooch, and slim tux pants. All hail to this look *bows down*.

#2 Ryan Kwanten- In the case of fashion repeating itself, the comeback of velvet on the red carpet is back and Ryan takes the #2 spot for this classic look. This tux is a perfect fit!!!! Fellas fit is VERY important. He paired this 2 button velvet dinner jacket with a simple vintage velvet bowtie (like the one I am wearing the TheXStylezBlog header. With a clean haircut and an awarding winning smile, Ryan was ready to make his presence known, and that HE DID!

#3 Rickey Gervais- Now THIS!!! excites me. Rickey didn’t take the traditional approach at all. In Fashion it’s the dare devils that get noticed and Rickey's eye for fashion landed him at the #3 Best Dressed of the Golden Globes. He keeps it hip with accessorizing this look with tinted shades. This cranberry one button peek lapel tux is everything it needs to be and more. Rickey Gervais thank you for adding color to the red carpet.
